A step-by-step guide to the glass cleaning process.
Required equipment, tools and chemical
- Glass cleaner chemical
- Glass cleaning duster / cloth
- Glass cleaning squeeze and Scrubber
- Scraper
- Bucket
- Nylon Scrubber
- Spray bottle
- Telescopic Rod
Required PPE
- Cleaning in process signage
- Goggles
- Saftey Helmet for Height work
- Nitrile gloves
Process
- Half a bucket of water is needed and dilute the glass cleaning chemicals according to the standard dilution ratio (usually 20 to 50 ml of chemicals in 1 liter of water)
- Use PPE as needed and keep the cleanliness in progress signage.
- Scrub the glass with a window washer and if necessary use a scraper and nylon scrubber. Note :- the glass should not be scratched by the scraper.
- Use a window cleaning squeegee to wipe off the glass after scrubbing. Please clean the note before drying.
- Clean the side and bottom bar using a clean duster.
- Clean the squeegee with a duster. Use a cleaning cloth/duster to clean the glass from the inaccessible area.
- Remove signage boards and all cleaning equipment from the area that was cleaned.
