The new year with new trends have arrived and you may have heard or saw the term “AI” while scrolling through social media or surfing the internet, why is everybody talking about it so much what is AI and why is it so popular, what could it lead us to in the future, and feat of people being Dominated by this robotic technology, You may wonder that right? Let’s uncover it today.
WHAT IS AI?
Mr. John McCarthy who is known as the father of AI (Artificial intelligence) coined the term Artificial intelligence in the mid-1950s. That is how early AI was invented and this term is collecting so much fame from the media and all.
If we put it in simple words, we can say AI which means artificial intelligence. Is a set of small algorithms and by small, I mean really small algorithms and if we connect a lot of micro algorithms together, It contributes and makes a big program.
Basically, to understand it better we can look at an example like facial recognition. Everybody in this generation must be familiar with facial recognition at this point. Its work is to recognize and scan a face, for protection purposes of personal information such as someone’s bank details on their phone.
WHY IS IT SO POPULAR NOW??
Thanks to advanced algorithms and increased data volumes and improved technology, we’ve created in the modern day. It was indeed introduced almost 65 years ago. But today we have an efficient way to store and train massive amounts of data like we never could before.
The work done by a human takes a reasonable amount of time but with artificial intelligence, it can be done in a matter of seconds. That’s why tech companies are down to fund for building advanced AI machines and algorithms and security systems for their precious information. Also, investors and traders are looking out for updates. How crypto blew up in 2009 and NFTs (non-fungible tokens).
Just like that Artificial intelligence could eventually blow up, not like that but we think, it could be a much bigger thing than that, which affects every aspect of life in our daily lives and it is being really hard to live without artificial technology in our generation. Chances are artificial intelligence will dominate the upcoming future generations too.
Artificial intelligence has become a necessity and addiction to the human race. It has the potential to take over the future with its amazing work done till now. But people think that a downside to this rise in technology and robotic systems is, that Artificial intelligence will take over many jobs away from humans. But it is sure that it will end up creating more jobs also. This is why we need to update ourselves and trying on new things also being open to take risks because if we don’t know what’s our future going to be like we need to take precautions so that we don’t end up in the number of people who don’t have a second option.
IS IT WORTH IT?
In the end, we all may have different opinions on this new trend, but it is a great opportunity for us all to learn and invest our time in taking interest in this old yet new technology. It sure is worth it. But for some people, their jobs may not remain later in life. It is a great risk if we look at artificial intelligence from this point of view. But if youngsters start to learn and experience new things from now on and keep themselves updated with new trends, they can actually achieve a lot of success later in their lives.
