Cleaning toilets, in particular, removing toilet stains, is sometimes difficult at home, but it is an essential task for a clean and tidy bathroom. Experts in this field share their top tips that use only two ingredients and the toilet will shine.

Stains from toilets can be difficult to remove if they are not cleaned properly or neglected in a timely manner, which can result in hard stains to build up and be difficult to eliminate. Staining can often occur in areas of the toilet that are difficult to reach – or because of salt water, they will regularly reappear even when the toilet is cleaned regularly. That’s why it’s important to know how to clean the toilet properly.

You can remove stubborn stains from the washroom by applying baking soda and white vinegar. It produces a rapid reaction that activates the acid and can break down even the most stubborn of limescale stains.

While doing this work, you should use masks and globs, because the reaction of vinegar and baking soda can cause problems in breathing.

After about 10 minutes, scrub the toilet bowl with a scrub pad. After scrubbing, flush the toilet bowl two or three times to clean from the inside. Cleaning the toilet with lemon juice after flushing will help to remove any remaining stains and also remove odor.
